President's welcome

Bienvenue and welcome to the new website of the Ireland-France Chamber of Commerce.
We hope that you will find the website useful and provide full information on the various services and activities of the Chamber and hopefully also illustrating the benefits of membership of the Chamber. It remains the mission of the IFCC to assist its members in availing of business opportunities that may arise as a result of contact between the members and also to promote and support the conduct of the business between Ireland and France. In what remains a very challenging business environment the benefits of an active business network remain invaluable and the IFCC provides such a network to its members.
Members will be able to access the various services and assistance provided by the IFCC whereas non-members will hopefully perceive the strength and variety of the activities of the IFCC and consider the benefits of becoming members. On the website you will find details of the full programme of events organised by the IFCC throughout the year which are open to members and non-members with reduced fees payable in each case by members.
As President of the Chamber I would like to express my thanks to Cliona McGowan for all her hard work on behalf of the Chamber and without whose tremendous efforts the Chamber would not be in a position to be involved in so many activities. In addition, our thanks go to all our patrons and members for their continued support and we look forward to welcoming existing and new members to Chamber events in the future.
Gerry Halpenny, President 2012 (Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, LK Shields)
